This works. I use a blender though. We have a Blendtec® which is expensive but was worth it. I am sure any really strong blender would work. I make shakes/juice with spinach and a few different fruits like blueberries, apples, pineapple, watermelon. The thing I like about the blender is you get all of the vegetable and fruit with fiber, etc and no waste. It also only takes about 2-3 minutes to make one including clean up. My two year old loves the shakes.
