We have 6 billion bacteria in our mouth of over 600 different species...

...and, many of the bacteria found in our mouth can be harmful to our gums and teeth.  The bacteria build a biofilm in our mouth and cover our teeth.  The bacteria and tartar can be found under the biofilm and becomes resistant to brushing, flossing and the usual oral hygiene practices.  After brushing and flossing, I chew a softgel capsule of the oils of thyme, cinnamon, oregano and clove and swish the oil in my mouth for 20 to 30 seconds.  The oil will kill all the bacteria and actually is able to get under the biofilm and reduce the tartar.  Some of the bacteria in our mouth, if able to enter the bloodstream via inflammation and sores in our mouth, can cause heart disease.
