The Fitness Hangover

According to a recent survey, almost 50 percent of people who regularly work out occasionally experience a "workout hangover" after an intense exercise session:

  • Muscle pain
  • Stiffness
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches

Almost 1/3 of the survey respondents said they had sometimes missed work because their workout had left them in so much pain.

Fitness Hangover Prevention: Curcumin and Boswellia

Clinical Study: Healthy adults with acute muscle pain took an herbal pain blend or an OTC pain drug, once a day in the morning for 7 days.

Proprietary herbal pain blend: curcumin and boswellia in black sesame seed oil, 1,000 mg (2 softgels).

OTC pain drug: acetaminophen, 1,000 mg (2 tablets).

Results: Both groups had equally effective pain relief.

Herbal pain blend was 8X better in reducing unpleasantness and emotional aspects of acute pain.

Results detectable with the first dose - as soon as one hour after taking the curcumin/boswellia/black sesame oil combination.  No adverse effects.
