Cholesterol is a nutrient we need to provide a number of functions including production of our sex hormones, Vitamin D-3, and healthy brain function. It definitely is not harmful to your heart or your health. It is so important to our health that we have a liver function to produce the cholesterol we need daily.
While the brain is only 2% of the body weight, 25% of the body’s cholesterol is found in the brain for proper mental function.
