Mesoglycan

The human body is estimated to have around 60,000 miles of blood vessels! Uninhibited, healthy blood flow through these strong, flexible arteries, veins, and capillaries is central to good health. There is no drug that can make these blood vessels stronger; however, there is a nutrient that accomplishes the job — mesoglycan.  Mesoglycan occurs naturally in the body and works to repair damaged blood vessels not only in the heart but also throughout the body including the legs, brain, and eyes. In fact, the entire circulatory system needs this necessary component to build strong and flexible blood vessel walls. Mesoglycan works to repair damaged blood vessels much like road repair on a super-highway. It also keeps blood cells from clumping together and forming blood clots. The reason mesoglycan is so effective is because it’s a great source of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which are the building blocks of healthy arteries.

There are many clinical studies on mesoglycan with impressive results. In one clinical trial, patients with atherosclerosis showed an improvement in blood flow after just 30 days. Other clinical tests show that mesoglycan can stop the reoccurrence of deep vein thrombosis.  Mesoglycan also appears to improve the fluid properties of red blood cells without thinning the blood. To get the most benefit from your mesoglycan supplement, opt for one that is bioidentical to the body. Check the label to ensure your mesoglycan comes from a porcine source and aim for 50-100 mg daily.
