Infection with bacterial or viral disease can leave people with fatigue that lasts for months or years. Ordinary fatigue improves with rest –post-viral (also called post-infection fatigue) does not, triggering infections which include Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr virus, and COVID-19 infection.
New study in 188 people with chronic fatigue syndrome:
Treated with red ginseng for four weeks; of the 60% of participants who saw improvements, the results were significant;
Dosage: 200-400 mg of red ginseng daily; participants used a specific extract of hydroponic red ginseng high in the rare, noble ginsenosides.
