Boswellia Can Treat a Variety of Upper Respiratory Tract Conditions
Curcumin, of course, is my most favorite herbal medicine, but after curcumin, my second choice is boswellia. Boswellia is a very powerful anti-inflammatory through the action of downgrading the 5-Lox enzyme. The 5-Lox enzyme in our metabolic function is related to preventing and downgrading 60 different diseases. It is particularly effective for upper respiratory tract conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, COPD, allergies and sinusitis. A highly studied form of boswellia contains 10% AKBA, the most effective component of boswellia, and less than 5% of beta-boswellic acid. This combination creates a boswellia that is up to 20 times more effective than plain boswellia.
