A Natural Way to Lower Blood Pressure


Several herbs have been proven to be effective in lowering blood pressure as effectively as blood pressure medication.  The three most commonly studied herbs are olive leaf extract, hibiscus and grape seed extract.  All could be used together or a choice of one or two for a trial of lowering blood pressure.  The clinically studied dosage of grape seed extract to lower blood pressure was 150 mg twice a day.  It would require a trial of at least three months.  On the more positive side, there are no side effects using these plant extracts.  In some cases, diuretics are prescribed which unfortunately wash out many of our minerals including magnesium which helps maintain proper blood pressure.
