I share with everyone that I believe diet, the food we eat or don’t eat plays a huge part in our health. Studies prove that 30% of human cancer is caused by tobacco, 30% by diet and 30% by the environment. We do have more control over our illnesses such as cancer than what we have been led to believe. 20 billion dollars are spent each year to find a cure for cancer. The cure is prevention with a change of lifestyle not in the funding of a new drug. I always try to share my philosophy with anyone willing to listen. I suggest a change of diet to one that avoids chemicals with more emphasis on more healthy organic foods. Avoid refined and processed foods that are void of nutrients, refined sugar, soft drinks and refined carbohydrates. Vegetable oils like soybean, corn, safflower and sunflower oils cause more heart disease and cancer than the so called saturated fats, that are really and truly the healthy fats.
