Researchers at the prestigious Mayo Clinic recently published a report showing that a lower carb diet with a higher fat diet is associated with a 42% risk reduction for dementia, the most common form being Alzheimer’s. Medical experts calling for low fat diets are destroying the health of Americans. When high levels of healthy fats were consumed Americans were over all much healthy, heart disease and cancer were practically unknown. Today because of the fear of fats, the fact promoted by medical experts, Americans have adopted a low fat diet and filled in the rest with Carbs. Carbs have fueled the way for all our so called modern diseases and new drugs to treat the symptoms and not the cause………..of course the cause is the diet. We have to eat our way back to health not drug our way back to health. Drugs are not the answer. Dump the carbs and start eating healthy fats and proteins. Carbs should be less than 70 grams per day.
