Exercise is not effective for weight loss.

New studies in the news today prove exercise is not effective for weight loss. In fact people who exercise excessively may cause damage to joints and muscles that may not reflect their damage until too late. Overweight people running on hard surfaces are not smart.  The most effective way to lose weight long term is to change your food choices and to exercise moderately.  It is not necessary to count calories or measure portion sizes.
