Coenzyme Q10 Levels in Patients with Lung Cancer
In this study, the authors assessed blood samples from patients with lung cancer and found that levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) and the rate of DNA damage were significantly higher, while levels of coenzyme Q10 were significantly lower in patients with lung cancer, as compared to controls. These results warrant further research and suggest that the role of supplementation with coenzyme Q10 in lung cancer patients warrants investigation.
