The most abundant vegetable oil used in manufacturing packaged and refined foods is soybean oil.

70% of all vegetable oil used in packaged foods is soybean oil.  94% of the U.S. soybean crop is genetically modified since Monsanto holds the monopoly on soybean production known as Roundup ready soybeans which produces formaldehyde, a toxic compound that depletes a natural, powerful antioxidant called glutathione which is produced in the body that would normally protect our cells and detoxify our body.  A recent survey showed that most Americans use Wesson vegetable oil which is now made from GMO soybeans.
