Vitamin D

Many, many people are deficient in their vitamin D levels. Known as the “sunshine vitamin” this vitamin is actually a “pro-hormone” and is produced in the skin cells after exposure to sunshine. However, because of our changing lifestyles and concerns about skin cancer, we don’t get the sunshine we need to produce enough vitamin D.
