At this time of year, you hear about frankincense as one of the gifts of the Magi. Do you realize why it was such a valuable gift? It’s still a gift to us today to stop inflammatory cellular damage, inhibit the destructive effects of oxidation, and even stop cancer and tumor growth.
Q. Dear Terry, “For the past few months, my dog has been experiencing some urinary incontinence. She is an older dog and my veterinarian said this can be part of the aging process. I would like to try some natural options before a prescription. Is there anything I can give my dog to help her bladder?” — Mary Jo K., Las Cruces, NM

Do You Experience Fatigue, Depression and a Lack of Zest for Life?
Here’s the case for supplementing with an herb that has a long folklore and traditional use. It has been used in China, Tibet, and Mongolia for thousands of years to increase energy levels, achieve peak mental and physical performance, lift moods, and reduce depression.
Now science, with hundreds of studies, has proven that rhodiola, also known as Arctic root, has indeed reduced depression safely without side effects. It increases energy levels, and reduces fatigue and stress. This herb is truly designed to counter the effects of the American lifestyle.
Many individuals are stressed out, depressed and experience chronic fatigue daily. Some people have commented to me that they’re tired of being tired. As much as I respect rhodiola as the herb to use, to counter these conditions, I also would like to add ashwagandha to rhodiola. Taking this combination 2-3 times a day can significantly improve the quality of your life.
TODAY'S WORD From Joel and Victoria
Be Great in the Midst of Criticism
If you’re going to pursue greatness, if you’re going to be a great businessperson, a great teacher, a great parent, a great leader, you have to understand that not everyone is going to cheer you on. I’d love to tell you that your family, friends and co-workers will celebrate you, but that’s not necessarily the case. Some people simply can’t handle your success. As you grow and increase, as God pours out His favor on you, someone will get jealous. Someone will start finding fault. Don’t be surprised if a relative tries to belittle or discredit you. You can’t focus on making everyone around you happy or you’ll start changing and lose sight of what God has placed in your heart.
Remember, your destiny is too great to be distracted by people who are never going to affirm you. Don’t take it personally. It’s not about you. It’s their problem. Shake it off, run your race and be great anyway.
Having greatness in the midst of criticism begins with forgiveness. Don’t hold a grudge. Bless those who curse you; pray for those who spitefully use you. As you keep doing what is right, God will honor you. He’ll promote you, and you’ll be great in the midst of criticism!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father, I come to You today with an open and humble heart. I choose to forgive those who have criticized me. I choose to bless those who have hurt me. I choose to be great because You have equipped and empowered me to be great in the midst of criticism in Jesus’ name! Amen."
