Whether it’s a migraine, tension, sinus, or a cluster headache, a lot of people think that ibuprofen, acetaminophen, or aspirin are their only choices for relief. With very little research, you can see all the side effects and problems these analgesics cause while trying to take away headache pain. Thankfully, there is a way to stop headaches without risk using natural ingredients.
Q. Dear Terry, “My wife is suffering from osteoarthritis, mainly in her knees. She loves to garden and go for walks, but hasn’t been able to do much lately. It’s hard to see her not being able to do the things she enjoys. What should she try?” — Simon M., Hattiesburg, MS
Q. Dear Terry, “Osteoporosis runs in my family, my sister and mom have both suffered multiple fractures. They are both taking prescription medications, but they don’t seem to be helping. I’m hoping to prevent getting osteoporosis myself. I started increasing my activity level and I’m working with a nutritionist as well. Are there any herbs that could help?” — Chels P., Woodbury, MN

Recent research at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest has discovered a unique form of echinacea, and through research discovered a set of phytochemicals that triggers the neurons in the brain for relaxation. This is not the type of echinacea that supports the immune system when plagued with a cold or flu. This echinacea is a special variety which triggers and targets brain neurons.
Usually when echinacea is consumed, it is taken in significant quantities, but scientists in Budapest found the dosage to be different for this unique species, and only 20 mg of echinacea is required one or more times daily to reduce anxiety, and may even play a part in decreasing panic attacks. Usually the effects can be felt in one or two hours so it makes it ideal to be taken daily or occasionally when a state of anxiety presents itself such as flying, driving in traffic or giving a presentation or lecture before a large group of people.
TODAY'S WORD From Joel and Victoria
He is Strong in You
Sometimes, people get distracted by what they consider to be a disadvantage or weakness in their lives. It may be something about their personality or looks that they don’t like. Or, maybe they’ve been through an unfair situation: a divorce, a bad business deal or a bad break. We all have things that can feel like disadvantages; things that make it harder on us. It may even be a physical handicap, and you can’t get around like you used to. But just because you have a “disadvantage,” just because you’ve been through a tough time doesn’t mean you’re supposed to sit back and settle where you are. God still has something great for you to do! He wants to show Himself strong in and through you, and He’s given you His Holy Spirit to equip you in this life.
Today let the Holy Spirit help you when you feel weak. Let Him empower you with truth that will set you free. Stay in faith and don’t get negative toward yourself or your future. Let God take what you think is a liability and turn it into an asset! Let Him take what you think is a disadvantage and turn it around to be an advantage! Remember, you are more than a conqueror today and every day because He is strong in you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, today I give You all that I am. I invite You into the weak places in my life so that You can turn them into strengths. Thank You for working in my life and filling me with faith and expectancy in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
