A. Dear Anne, Polymyalgia rheumatica is an inflammatory disorder that causes muscle pain and stiffness, especially in the shoulders. I believe I can offer you some alternative nutritional options that will provide some relief. However, I encourage you to discuss the use of dietary supplementation with your physician, as they may have additional input regarding a supplement regimen.

I would first recommend trying a combination of highly absorbable curcumin, boswellia, DLPA, and nattokinase. These four ingredients will help to address any pain you may be experiencing. Each ingredient works in a slightly different manner to get you comfortable as quickly as possible. I suggest that you take these four ingredients up to three times daily.

I believe you would also benefit greatly by adding a strong, absorbable curcumin to your daily regimen. I recommend taking 750 mg of high absorption curcumin twice daily. Keep in mind that standard curcumin is very poorly absorbed, so you need to make sure the product you choose features a curcumin with excellent absorption that has been proven in published human studies. The best form I have ever found uses curcumin blended with turmeric essential oils. This curcumin has been shown in published human studies to be better absorbed than standard curcumin.
