What do you recommend for jet lag?

A. Dear Mary, I too, fly quite a lot. I find that melatonin can be quite helpful when it comes to jet lag. I recommend taking 5 mg of melatonin when you board the plane. Then, depending on the length of the flight (i.e., an international flight), you may also want to take 5 mg halfway through the flight and then 5 mg when you arrive at your destination.  If it’s a domestic flight, try taking 5 mg either at the beginning or at the end of the flight.  Safe travels!
