What do you recommend for bad breath?
Q. Dear Terry, “What do you recommend for bad breath? My teeth are in good shape per my dentist. My health is good. I tried everything and still have problems.” — Denice C., Houston, TX
A. Dear Denice, I would recommend Cinnamon, Thyme, Clove, and Oregano oils – some of nature’s most powerful ingredients – to help kill bacteria in your mouth. Make sure to choose concentrated plant oils that are approved for internal use. Unlike essential oils used for massage and aromatherapy, these plant oils are tested and “fingerprinted” based on specific molecular makeup, species, marker compounds, purity and safety for internal medicinal use. The extraordinary potency of these tested plant oils allows for relatively low doses, but very powerful health benefits.
I suggest taking a total of 75 mg of these oils orally twice daily after brushing and flossing your teeth. In addition to the oils you swallow, I would also recommend swishing the oils in your mouth and in between your teeth for about 60 seconds once or twice daily. You can either spit out the contents or swallow.
