I was diagnosed with cervical dysplasia.

Q. Dear Terry, “I was diagnosed with cervical dysplasia. What ingredients do you recommend to heal this naturally and avoid cancer?” — DJ K., Reno, NV

A. Dear DJ, Cervical dysplasia affects around one million women per year. While many factors can contribute to abnormal cellular development in the cervix, it appears that the human papilloma virus (HPV) is one of the major causes.

I believe you could benefit greatly from the addition of curcumin to your daily regimen. Because of its antiviral activity, it is a great choice for any kind of viral infection, including HPV. Curcumin is also a powerful anticancer botanical and helps prevent cellular changes that can lead to cervical or other forms of cancer. The curcumin I recommend is blended with turmeric essential oil for enhanced absorption and even better cellular protection.

Estrogen imbalances can also play a role in the development of cervical cancer. There is a natural ingredient called DIM (diindolylmethane) that helps prevent the conversion of estrogen into harmful forms in the body, which can promote cancer growth. In a clinical study, almost 50% of participants with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) grade 2 or 3 experienced a downgrading in their cervical dysplasia after six months. I recommend DIM that features excellent absorption and has been clinically studied.

Lastly, grape seed extract also helps with hormone balance and has potent anticancer properties. The grape seed extract I think is best is a French grape seed extract with low-molecular weight oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs) that are well absorbed.

Healthy Regards!
