I suffer from interruption of sleep because of 1 or 2 trips to urinate.

Q. Dear Terry, “I received a course of radiation 7 years ago for mid stage prostate cancer. All has been good except the interruption of sleep because of 1 or 2 trips to urinate. Is there anything I can take that might help?” — Allen D., El Paso, TX

A. Dear Allen, There is a clinically-studied Angelica archangelica extract I recommend that will help strengthen bladder muscles and increase bladder capacity. Angelica archangelica has been used in folk medicine for centuries – the Vikings even used this herb as a form of currency. When choosing a formula, look for one that features an aqueous (water) extract of Angelica archangelica leaves that has been clinically-studied. Start by taking 2 tablets daily for 2-3 days, then decreasing to 1 tablet daily thereafter.

I strongly encourage you to discuss the use of dietary supplementation with your physician, as they may have additional input regarding a supplement regimen.

Healthy Regards!
