I have been experiencing a lot of light-headedness, stress, body aches, and sleep disturbances.

A. Dear Mae, I highly recommend continuing to make some modifications to your diet. I believe it’s important to restrict all sugar and foods made with sugar, refined flour, and carbohydrates. That means soft drinks, sweetened and diet, crackers, candy, cookies, bread, pasta, cakes, and ice cream. While I understand this takes a huge effort, it can make a real difference. In addition to dietary modifications, there are some natural ingredients that you may want to consider.

To function at their optimal level, the adrenals require an array of necessary nutrients. To support and repair the adrenals, natural ingredients like DHEA, pregnenolone, adrenal extract, L-tyrosine, pantothenic acid, licorice, and rehmannia root extracts, along with vitamins B6 and C, are incredibly beneficial. These ingredients work together to help repair the adrenal glands, as well as support the body’s ability to respond to environmental stress in a healthy manner, which helps restore optimal adrenal function. I recommend taking these nutrients three times daily.

I also recommend taking two potent, adaptogenic herbs: rhodiola and ashwagandha. Adaptogens work by increasing strength, stamina, and energy without being stimulants. I suggest taking these two herbs three times daily.
