A. Dear Ethan, Headaches are one of the most commonly reported sources of pain. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), headaches are the number one, most common nervous system disorders. In fact, 47 percent—almost half of the population of the planet—had some form of headache in the past year. Most common in America are tension headaches—up to 80 percent of us experience them, some for up to three months at a stretch!
Fortunately, there are ingredients that can stop the inflammation and blood vessel constriction associated with headaches, and keep them from returning. When it comes to headaches, I think the following nutrients can be very helpful: curcumin with turmeric essential oil, boswellia, DLPA, vitamin B6, and magnesium.
Each ingredient works in a slightly different manner to stop—and prevent—headaches regardless of their cause or type. I would take these ingredients one to three times per day.
