Can you clarify which oils are best to make salad dressings, which to cook with, and which to avoid?

Q. Dear Terry, “I'm confused about oils. Can you clarify which are best to make salad dressings, which to cook with, and which to avoid? Thanks!!!” — Deborah W., Knoxville, TN

A. Dear Deborah, When it comes to oils, I only use olive oil (extra virgin, cold-pressed), organic sesame seed oil, camelina oil, and coconut oil. Each of these oils can be used for any purpose, whether it’s as a supplement, salad dressing, or cooking.

Healthy Regards!
