Rhodiola is one of my most favorite adaptogens. Dr. Brown, a psychiatrist, does an excellent job of explaining the health benefits of rhodiola. Adaptogens help us adapt to the environment around us whether it’s climate changes, changes of our finances, relationships, lack of sleep, or monotonous occupations. Rhodiola can help us perform more optimally both mentally and physically. Studies have proven that rhodiola increases our learning skills and cognitive function. There are also studies that show rhodiola is an excellent antidepressant. Dr. Brown and his wife do an excellent job of providing case studies and documentation to support rhodiola for human health. This is one of the best books I’ve read covering the wonders of rhodiola. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in true adaptogens.
