The fear of drinking raw milk causes it not to be available through commercial sales. Yet, when raw milk is sold in states where it’s approved for sale, we don’t see outbreaks of disease caused by drinking raw milk. We have seen more illness and deaths from various plant foods such as sprouts, lettuce, and cantaloupe, but they will still be sold raw. Harmful bacteria can be found in any food. Why shouldn’t raw milk be available? Probably every family living on a farm is drinking raw milk and I don’t see anybody dropping dead from it.
