Kick Out Candida Naturally! |

When you hear about a yeast infection, the first thought might be that it is a woman’s problem, usually causing vaginal itching and discomfort. But did you know that this problematic yeast, Candida albicans, is present throughout the body, including the digestive tract, in both women and men? While it is true that Candida out of control can cause vaginal yeast infections and oral infections called “thrush,” it is also associated with a wide number of chronic diseases, and can increase the risks for certain types of cancer, including cervical cancer. An overgrowth of yeast in the intestines has long been thought to play a role in leaky gut syndrome and irritable bowel disease (IBS). In general, the more yeast present in your intestines, the less room there is for the healthy good bacteria that play such a crucial role in having a strong immune response. By squeezing out these important, protective bacteria, yeast overgrowth can set the stage for a compromised immune system. There are even integrative medical practitioners who feel that yeast overgrowth contributes significantly to chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. So even though a “yeast” infection may seem trivial, the implications are far-reaching and can damage health dramatically. For all these reasons and more, it is very important to rid the body of excessive yeast. This week’s Terry Talks Nutrition will examine totally natural ways to take control of yeast and restore healthy balance.

How To Deal With Daily Stress
Stress is something we’ll have to endure often and maybe even on a daily basis. Stress is how we look at a condition. Some people thrive on challenges, others wilt under these conditions. The condition of the body, when in good health, will help us maintain the ability to take stress and turn it around and use it as a positive challenge. I have found four herbs that are used worldwide as adaptogens by helping the body adapt to conditions and challenges. To eliminate daily stress and reduce the size of stress, I have researched four herbs in a combination that will significantly reduce the strain of stress. They are rhodiola, schisandra, ashwagandha and eleuthero. These herbs not only reduce stress but they have been researched and are shown to reduce depression, anxiety, fatigue, liver disorders and exhaustion. They have also been shown to increase sexual performance and libido, and physical and mental performance.

Clothe Yourself
Is there something in your life that you would like to put a stop to today? Maybe it’s a certain behavior, addiction or bad attitude that isn’t pleasing to God. When Adam and Eve disobeyed in the garden, the first thing God did was to put clothing on them. They needed to be covered. In the same way, you and I need to be covered today. What should we cover or clothe ourselves with?
When you “clothe yourself” with the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be protected and able to stand strong against temptation. How do you clothe yourself with Jesus Christ? First of all, when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are covered and cleansed by His blood. You are restored and renewed. Then, just as you get dressed daily, you have to daily “cover” your mind with the Word of God. That means you cover every point that has access to your thoughts. Cover your ears by listening to the Word. Cover your eyes by watching only what is pleasing to the Lord. Cover your mouth by speaking the Word and encouraging those around you. As you cover yourself with Christ, you’ll be strong against temptation, you’ll walk in victory, and you’ll experience the good things He has in store for you!
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to redeem me and restore me. Thank You for making me new and covering me so that I can stand strong against temptation. Today, I submit every area of my life to You and invite You to have Your way in me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Motivational Thought for the Day
"There are no extra pieces in the universe. Everyone is here because he or she has a place to fill, and every piece must fit itself into the big jigsaw puzzle."
— Deepak Chopra: is an authority in the field of mind-body healing
Today's Scripture:
“Clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature]...”
